one question triggering in mind how can find database server machine info sharepoint link/site exist. im using sharepoint 2013 server , looking way database location info.

there many ways find looking for. first 1 springs mind go to:

central admin > perform backup or centraladmin /_admin/backup.aspx

this give detailed list of each web application , expanding able find content database's name.

finding sql database server go central admin > application management > manage content databases

select desired web application , clicking on content db name show db server name , db name.
