i tried create git repo instructions "source.android.com/source/downloading.html#installing-repo"

but next error when trying initialize repo in working directory (using ubuntu):

:~/workdir$ repo init -u https://android.googlesource.com/a/platform/manifest fatal: cannot https://gerrit.googlesource.com/git-repo/clone.bundle fatal: error [errno -2] name or service not known

i have created ~/.netrc file generated password , set http_proxy , https_proxy variables. when seek access above clone.bundle link through browser, "not found" error. please allow me know if additional settings need done. in advance.
