php - where is $this->baseurl defined in joomla? -

on joomla website i'm using echo $this->baseurl; returns url containing "/index.php". want alter remove "/index.php" baseurl. cannot find definition line of $this->baseurl;.

i found this thread based on template of question owner , in template there isn't this.
