Sitecore content gone in web DB after publish -

i've been happily developing away on sitecore project lastly couple of months. eve did have done 100 times, smart published entire site view web db end user.

when navigated site discovered of content gone. rendering elements there, in /sitecore/content tree missing on page. gone. empty. nada.

everything looks fine when i'm logged in , viewing in page editor.

i've done several smart publishes , still same. going seek republish of everything, after reading warning dialog thought i'd wait until understand happened.

this pretty disconcerting thing. 1 have ideas?

to prepare it, set setting publishing.publishemptyitems true
