i need means upgrade app whenever update out, there library create easier me force over-the-air(ota) updates server?

i looking simplest solution. far on search have not found helpful results.

best way can think of have php db lookup. each time release new version, store new version. web server have scheduled task run php script db lookup , if new version found sends notification user via google cloud messaging (gcm) app listens display notification.

simpler solution, if don't want worry using gcm, php script 1 time again android app post to, each day, , php script lookup , returns if there new version , url new version app can inquire user if want download app.
