tfs - Scrum Template Upgrades? -
when upgrade tfs server automatically update scrum template using existing projects or have manually? if manually involved?
the team project working on defined in 2012 rtm our server @ 2013.3. haven't used work items much @ point (at little bit airplane pilot project) force harder our organization utilize scrum want create sure on latest/greatest template before start.
your process template not automatically updated. long haven't made changes original process template, upgrading quite easy.
you enable new features running configure features wizard in team projects configuration page.
if automatic update fails, message describing errors encountered. have apply updates manually described on msdn bit harder.
a not nice easy way remove work items , process info project , add together newest items. martin hinshelwood has great guidance on how this.
