dependencies - rpmbuild Requires(post) does not work as expected, require a local package -
my understanding read spec files requires(post) statement create library next not required until after installation has finished. doesn't seem case. misunderstanding command?
my main objective download rpm in %pre section , require later install local copy. if there way go doing, appreciate help?
the requires(post) tag tells rpm bundle requires bundle to installed before %post scriplet of rpm can run (presumably because depend on file bundle in %post scriptlet in fashion).
this used ordering of bundle installation within transaction.
as far aware (and believe verbose debug output yum confirm this) total set of required bundle info assembled before transaction begins not willy-nilly packages installed.
so, indicated in comment, else here aside don't believe can make bundle available transaction within transaction.
