android - Blocking "Back" button to Close Interstitial Ad -

android - Blocking "Back" button to Close Interstitial Ad -

i adding interstitial ads android app using admob. wondering if there way prevent users closing them via pressing "back" button (so they'd have press "x" button on ad).

i know admob loading advertisement in activity, can't utilize activity's onkeydown() that.

also, not sure if it's considered practice , if it's worth doing @ all.

thank you!

update:

it appears there no easy way override button in ad's activity (since don't have access activity). thus, i'll give on it.

however, still haven't found evidence against admob or android policy. in of android games button overridden turn pause mode on , off (as opposed go farther , exit) , seems okay it. therefore, still open hear aspect people know answer.

p.s.: people it's such horrible thing block button: agree create more annoying users, thought of interstitial ads pretty annoying begin with. despite of that, commonly used type of ads these days (guess why - it's more profitable).

now, of time if utilize button can close advertisement before loaded on screen (i'm talking loading of layout, not loading of info advertisement provider). whole thought of having ads show them people. so, think reasonable allow users close advertisement after loaded screen , not before that. , people saying otherwise (but @ same time not having against concept of interstitial ads) hypocritical.

if subclass admob activity, can override onbackpressed method nothing.
