java - Display a non-mobile website with WebView in an Android app -

i'm working on project @ university. goal develop android app functions mobile version of website , forum. asking myself if possible display website doesn't have view optimized mobile devices in android app looks mobile version of site?

i stumbled upon webview (webkit) during research , read javascript-injection via webview. can plainly tell me if viable solution? there improve alternatives haven't come across? problem website doesn't have api , don't have access info isn't available every user on forum , website.
