ssl - How does the browser deal with missing intermediate certs -

i've come across site https://alpower.com, site providing own site certificate. because of can't access site curl cacerts used root certsificates.

the site accessible in firefox however. how firefox able verify site's identity curl isn't?

browsers cache intermediate certificates. if missing certificate provided site browser have , utilize it. but, if utilize fresh browser profile might same problems curl, because intermediate certificate not cached.

this @ to the lowest degree how works firefox. other browsers might authorization info access section of certificate , if find url issuer certificate download certificate go on chain verification.

ssl curl
