vb6 - Automation of office word 2010 - library not registered -

the solution simple impossible. have office 2010 , office 2012 installed, vb6 fails create word application object giving me no more message saying dll not registered. attempts remove , restore dll using installer or 3rd party dll fails.

after removing office related , installing office 2010, application object gets created successfully. not viable solutions our customers: can't have them removing office suites this.

is there other way?

i had similar issue on dev machine 2 versions of office. cast eye on article microsoft back upwards mention /regserver command line option. article office automation when multiple versions of office installed. looks of don't think can forcefulness pick 1 version or other /regserver help in dev environment.
