mysql - Pentaho Kettle - How to produce update query based on result set? -
i come insert query generator pentaho spoon writes input info text file in form of set of sql statements.
i wonder if there method can used similar generate update query based on input.
well, if need update table based on key columns compared stream, may utilize insert/update step.
the downside won't generate statements in file, execute updates or inserts based on comparing , that's all.
can give more details scenario? may work things out together. why need file update statements? can't connect database , run updates right away?
