i've read various questions regarding couldn't not create whatever progress. i'm new orchard maybe i'm doing incorrectly.

the goal show "featured" image each post in blog home page (summary).

the first thing did add together new content type image gallery, next directions @ link: http://docs.orchardproject.net/documentation/creating-an-image-gallery

then edited blog post content definition, adding new content type media library picker field created in step 1.

now on each post there ability add together new image.

now want selected image show on blog summary view & in individual blog post view.

i followed direction @ link below, adding new element - placement info file in theme. image not appearing content part media picker field

still no luck...what missing here???

just add together medialibrarypickerfield straight blogpost content type. that's it.

you don't need else (no "image gallery content type" - indeed content type).

the display name field can "featured image".

the medialibrarypickerfield can configured not allow multiple content items (allow one).

placement.info allow decide want field show, , know.

shape alternates allow modify "template", both summary , detail views, if needed.
