css selectors - View inherited CSS properties for hovered element -

i have encountered annoying problem while trying debug css in chrome. rather new css, , using chrome's "computed" window in css developer tools has been handy in figuring out css properties i'm trying assign beingness overwritten later downwards chain. (please sense free right wrong terminology can on same page).

i need utilize approach figure out what's going wrong css hovered or focused element. here's problem: click chrome's developer tools see chain of inheritance specified element, no longer hovered/focused because i've clicked developer tools, preventing me seeing inheritance.

are there other tools out there can help me dissect html element's css inheritance chain in real-time?
