javascript - Bower install: No versions available -
i registered own library bower:
bower register angular-ngkit https://github.com/daveoncode/angular-ngkit-bower.git
and i'm able install using:
bower install angular-ngkit
but using simply:
bower install
or
bower info angular-ngkit
i "no versions available" exception , don't understand why, since using
git tag
i can see latest (and only) release named "0.2"
i published library under name "angular-ngkit" using git repo , unregistered (using curl -x delete repo_url
) , re-registered new repo url , executed command:
bower cache clean
...so why bower not working should?
update:
if define dependency library in bower.json "angular-ngkit": "*"
i'm able run bower install
properly... it's not acceptable :(
the reason bower not see versions of bundle repository contains single tag - v1.0 - not follow semantic versioning. bower versions can git tags or branches. version number must valid semantic version (semver). reason manage install using star target ("angular-ngkit": "*") in case if there not valid tags, bower fallback latest commit on master.
javascript angularjs git bower bower-install
