i started dynamic web application using java/jsp , tomcat. did bit of research, , there's no specific reply it. have front-end jsps , handling done on corresponding servlets. nice , all, , sort of local.

but i'd want application run java class loops , waits incoming udp packets other external clients. have separate udp receive class works fine on own, i'd code run in background of web application.

is there way done?
