android - Why has my R.java vanished, and how can I get it back -
i building android app in eclipse, , decided rename bundle of app under "src", right-clicking bundle , choosing "refactor" , "rename". did same bundle under "gen". renamed bundle in androidmanifest.xml. have "r cannot resolved variable" error. in bundle under "gen" there no r.java file, "buildconfig.java".
i have tried cleaning project , re-building after deleting "gen" folder. have no "import android.r" statements in of classes, , eclipse saying there no errors in xml files. of xml , image files named in lowercase no special characters. have tried restarting eclipse number of times.
how can prepare problem , r.java code working again? give thanks you.
usually happens when there error in xml files seek project->clean in eclipse. in limited experience if r.java not beingness automatically created there error somewhere in xml.
