java - JBoss Heap Space issue Due to Image Uploads -

java - JBoss Heap Space issue Due to Image Uploads -

we have web application in users uploading hundreds of images via web. application takes these images , moves them off storage (in filenet).

the issue seeing heap space filling , application crashing.

it seems reason these images not beingness cleaned via garbage collection though aren't beingness referenced anymore.

we have used appdynamics on our jboss servers monitor , check memory leaks. far, haven't found any.

any suggestions on should looking in addition?

thanks.

i assuming using filenet content engine. first thing memory leaks. since said have not found any, here practical tips seek out:

allocate more heap space , observe time takes crash. see if allocation of more space results in important difference. scale horizontally adding more server instances lessen load per server , observe time taken heap space fill. if decreases proportionately, means server overloaded. if using 3rd party software, memory leaks there. search ibm prepare central portal existing fixes problem.

java jboss filenet-p8 filenet
