hi new maven project can body clear me tags thinking " " name of bundle want maintain source codes , tag mentioning project name illustration without using maven creating project through eclipse foolow next steps

1-> new project

2->project name (in case of maven comes under tag)

3->we create bundle name keeping source codes within (in case of maven comes under tag )

so proceed in our developmennt.

please sujjest me whether understanding right have described above. waiting reply

i think want know basic things maven project. like how create maven project. how directory structure,etc.

new maven project give name,select type of packaging dropdown(jar/war/pom) once project created add together pom file. write web.xml(dispatcher servlet)(src->main->webapp->web-inf) write code in package.

you need maven installed on eclipse , must set user settings.

installing maven

click install new software alternative on eclipse. can find under help tab. search "maven eclipse kepler" , install particular setup. now 1 time done open "preferences" under maven->installation browse apache-maven path wherever have saved it. now alter user setting,give path of settings.xml(this xml has path of repository)

now done installaion.
