hosting - Favicon Does my site need to be hosted? -
i wondering if need website hosted able utilize favicon? @ min site file thats utilize look web edit with.

yes, website must hosted. favicon file on server (or somewhere outside of server server fetches file from), need have website hosted users indirectly access favicon , display it. when website isn't hosted not online users not able read files server.
here see screenshot of see when website not hosted. can see favicon, because webbrowser puts in cache (when clean cache not appear anymore). reply question?
