android - Filtering LogCat in ACRA by application and not using TAG -

android - Filtering LogCat in ACRA by application and not using TAG -

i using acra capturing errors , improving application. filter in logcat logs generated due application running includes not app generates, generated libraries used app (like googleplay).

usually have seen suggested filtering tag, not allow me see logs have not tagged (like, instance, acra... )

there solution in eclipse can filter both using tags application name and/or process id. that's do, filter application name logcat output sent acra.

i utilize command in logcat reproduce next alternative select in eclipse:

finally question @ logcat level. possible filter logcat @ adb level using filter application , not tag

is alternative have single tag application logs? way around have filter "all tag starting xxxx", have not found illustration in google, not using "*".

any solution using linux shell (like grep) not workable, tested way info passed acra.

trebia,

the tricky part of request "adb logcat" spits out pid. way know of filter application name write script query os via "ps" pid. not aware of way within eclipse out editing logcat plugin yourself.

if using mac , willing filter outside of eclipse should seek lograbbit. can filter application name or thing else need filter by. in add-on rich filter creator saved filters 1 click away real-time filtering.

you can find more info here: http://lograbbit.com/
