oracle - Visual Studio Deployment: Changing the dll version -
this question has reply here:
conditionally utilize 32/64 bit reference when building in visual studio 5 answersi developing single page web application uses oracle.dataaccess dll. when run application locally have utilize 32-bit version iis express. when publish application, iis requires utilize 64-bit version.
i wondering if there way alter version included in references depending if run locally vs. publishing without having manually alter dll each time before building.
i developing in visual studio 2013 update 3.
do utilize separate build configuration when deploying vs running locally? if so, can utilize condition
attribute of reference
conditionally evaluate based on current build configuration so:
<reference include="32 bit oracle.dataaccess" condition="'$(configuration)' == 'localbuild'" /> <reference include="64 bit oracle.dataaccess" condition="'$(configuration)' == 'mydeploymentbuild'" />
oracle visual-studio-2013
