Detecting if user has readonly or comment only permission for a Google Document -

if user has readonly or comment access document, there way check of these permission user has using user's credentials?

i tried https://developers.google.com/drive/v2/reference/permissions/list api using credentials of user has read access document, , crendentials user has comment permissions , reponse server identical. both times, response had entry owner , no other entries. there no other info either indicate type of access user made request has.

i have tried https://developers.google.com/drive/v2/reference/files/get api. api has flag editable false when user doesn't have write access. however, doesn't seem have info figure out if user has comment access or read access.

the permissions resource returned permissions api have "commenter" "additionalroles" user.
