i working platform.virtualfilesystem , want create new mapped drive pointing existing directory construction on local machine.

in platform.virtualfilesystem, seems based around view providers or inoderesolutionfilters, i'm struggling.

i've looked @ alternatives: can dokan or pismo this, , if so, how?

i hate need improve docs/examples can find of these three. i'd rtfm, don't know where.

a bit more background: want 3rd party apps "see" original files via mapping, want intercept them @ mapping point , encrypt them , alter filenames. i'm familiar c#, .net , windows box.
