centos7 - SSH Connection refuse after changing port -

i connecting centos7 minimal installation machine in lan (192.168.1.33). have changed ssh port vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config line 17 port 1234

after restarting sshd service connection refused

ssh demo@192.168.1.33 -p 1234 ssh: connect host 192.168.1.33 port 1234: connection refused

i have disabled selinux , router-firewall still having problem. though if alter port 22 can login again.

is there other configuration changed?

can remotely connect server way? if so, 1 time in, run sudo netstat -plutn.

you should see @ to the lowest degree 1 entry sshd. if don't, sshd isn't running. can install via sudo apt-get install openssh-server.

if do, port under 'local address' sshd line 1234? tell if changed port configuration.

hope helps!

ssh centos7
