is there command line console can seek , execute lines of code in unity? chrome console javascript, or running python on command line? on windows 8.

i saw immediate window in monodevelop, didn't seem work without debug session, , when debugging said wouldn't run when application running:

> look can't evaluated while application running. > debug session not started.

it wanted @ breakpoint, not obvious working , kept crashing when tried various ideas. rather utilize console independently debugging - experiment syntax etc.
