shell - How can I start in command mode (not insert mode) in readline's vi editting-mode -
full question in title
use case:
at shell prompt, nail return. want go previous line, nail <esc>k. i'd rather not have <esc> command.
seems me i command, , should not default mode. not in vi, nor vim, nor neo
one reply map disposable key right vi-mode commands. illustration have added my ~/.inputrc such a mapping # key.
