math - Find Minor axis points -

i have 2 points of major axis of ellipse , have length of minor axis.i want find minor axis points. 1 approach thought of finding slope of major axis.then find slope of minor axis.and have center point 1 equation.other equation can obtained using distance formula..but makes quadratic . linear solution possible?

you can utilize rotations 90° formulate this. suppose major axis endpoints (x1,y1) , (x2,y2). furthrmore, suppose sqrt((x1-x2)2+(y1-y2)2)=a length of major axis , b minor axis length. m=½(x1+x2,y1+y2) center of ellipse, , v=½(x1-x2,y1-y2) vector center 1 of major axis endpoints. hence w=b/(2a)*(y1-y2,x2-x1) vector midpoint 1 endpoint of minor axis, , -w other. m±w 2 endpoints.
