function - microsoft excel counting word based on condition and matcting -
in column there name a,b,c,d (almost thousand) , in column b there value either x/x or nothing.
now want count name how many x/x has. note may user utilize x or x(capital)
is possible utilize function. tried 1 sum(if(frequency(a1:a18,a1:a17)>0,(b1:b17=x or x )*1,0)) not working. can 1 guide me?
