however, research project guy wanting move server, , wanting me utilize node.js create gui, html/javascript/css. there anyway have layouts in client-side languages similar java's layouts? /* if remain in java, utilize 2 jpanels: picturepanel, have gridlayout, , questionpanel, have jlabel question in it.

also, told me node.js works java. tell me how work, , how determine contents of panels programmatically, using node.js? (would latter work in way similar writing php code, in sense can have live alongside html code?)

i don't know much how plug , play java , node js there defined templates (jade) go node js. can provide restful api node js , have html page renders above jui made in java.
