Meteor 1.0 - why does "Building the application" take so much longer than it used to? -

so updated meteor 1.0. while developing app locally, whenever update of js files, takes ~15+ seconds build application, during console says "building application". erg!

is new behavior in 1.0? used take 1-2 seconds see changes made js files on localhost (with 0.9.1, believe, think lastly version had). functionally instantaneous. , there's huge lag time while developing before seeing changes, makes rapid code/test iterations take way longer used to.

any way around , create build process faster while developing locally?

as werner pointed out, describing issue #2846 (https://github.com/meteor/meteor/issues/2846). working hard getting fixed create rapid testing more enjoyable again.
