internet explorer - IE cuts off right side of text -

i have element of, say, 1000px width, , within text. text displayed fine in browsers except in ie, looks right half cutting off, or container little , has overflow: hidden (but container isn't small).

oddly enough, seems still can mark text , all. not showing up.

i tested in ie11/10.

i work on net explorer team , can confirm bug net explorer. time being, remove (nearly-imperceivable) text-shadow , should resolve problem in net explorer.

i have opened bug track resolution of internally , see our composition team has matter.
