but first step in these tutorials, right-click on class-view , selecting codeengineering->importsourcedirectory fails; code engineering opens sub-context-menu containing suppress namespace, without importsourcedirectory option.

what doing wrong? or alternative in version of ea (10.0.1005) located somewhere else?

you either have wrong ea edition; code engineering science not supported in desktop edition -> see http://www.sparxsystems.com/products/ea/compare-editions.html compare ea editions. or don't have menu options enabled, mutual problem. go view|workspaces , commands... select command tab , select finish set. enable menuoptions.
