android - Show text in Textview even if too long for layout -

i want show dynamic string in textview. textview can take on length degree. possible allow long string somehow run through textview? mean: textview should show much letters can, lets after 5 seconds iterates through hole string. create whole text readable. user should not have interact ui.

if planning show big text in little layout or ui component there global understanding show part of text i.e. substring appended "..."

for e.g., if have string of 18 characters , ui component can show 10 characters, substring consisting of characters index 0 7th , append "..." , show it
